Selected Feedback:

'Robyn is a consummate professional delivering highly creative and original work. She is always looking to develop her practice, learn new skills and find new paths. Her work with communities is exemplary, enabling engagement, providing inspiration and facilitating creativity. She creates an atmosphere that enables individuals and groups to create work of which they can be proud. As an artist Robyn has delivered inspired and inspirational commissions. I would recommend Robyn Woolston to deliver challenging and evocative personal work and accessible and empowering community work. Work with her - she's amazing.'

Jo McGuire, Development Manager at Wirral Museums Service, Merseyside

'I am really enjoying Art Safari, I think it's due to Robyn's enthusiasm which is so uplifting. I am finding that it's making me look at all sorts of things differently. I like the freedom to express myself without boundaries. Robyn does this by giving everyone a good background about the subject matter and then lets us get creative. She also creates a very friendly atmosphere, and I have noticed that people are more willing to open up because of this'

'I just wanted to thank you very much for yesterdays session... I found the session quite profound in many ways, including personally... I was so interested that as the session went on the people I sat with began to bring out their strengths and their struggles - some of these really deep and difficult. Creativity, and a group setting, has always been a way I have worked - it can bring a place of safety and belonging where these inner issues can sadly emerge. How wonderful to be with the group and witness this happening.'

'...it has indeed been an awesome experience - you have both enriched my appreciation of art and my own life'

'Beautiful, witty and perfect for the site. It's a really wonderful contribution to the On Your Doorstep strand and is a perfect example of a community public art project. It's both whimsical and interactive'

Nick Jones, Programme Director, TRANSPORTED (Creative People and Places) speaking of the 'Imaginarium of Common Understanding' (2015), Long Sutton, Lincolnshire

'Robyn engaged with the young people extremely well, teaching them interviewing and filming techniques, guiding them on how to set up shots, get the best footage and how to edit a film. It was an intense programme but Robyn was able to make it fun and interesting whilst working them hard to achieve a fantastic finished film. She is enthusiastic and an extremely talented film-maker and I look forward to working with her on many other projects in the future.'

Kerry Hunt, formerly, Grundy Art Gallery

'I have enjoyed working with Robyn and have found her to be highly motivated, well organised and very creative. She has a natural talent for working with people and is skilled in responding to individual needs and helping people to explore their own creativity. Robyn has taken part in a lot of training with Aiming High for Disabled Children and has expanded her knowledge and understanding of working with disabled children and young people.'
